TAP Summer Camp

TAP camp is a 3 day camp offered in August. Participants will enjoy games, activities, crafts, and sports all focused around preparation for college, self-advocacy, and self-determination. TAP camp provides two options. The day option runs from 9am-2pm for three days. The overnight options drops off on the Tuesday at 9am and picks ups Thursday at 2pm.

TAP Camp

Mission :

The purpose of the TAP Camp  is to provide students between the ages of 16-26 with intellectual disabilities  a structured opportunity to experience, explore, and develop skills for pursuing postsecondary education. The camp  takes place at North Dakota State University (NDSU) in Fargo, ND.  The session will happen on August 5, 6, and 7.  Students who participate in the camp will have the opportunity to strengthen their self-advocacy and self-determination skills.  Skills to increase independence in areas of social integration, independent living, employment, and academics on a college campus will also be addressed.
